The Brief

Objectives: Develop a brand identity that reflects the spa’s ecological ethos, woodland setting, and the luxurious, holistic experience it offers. This would include a refined logo, cohesive visual elements, and a well-designed website.

Scope: Logo design, visual identity, colour palette, iconography, website design (Squarespace), and printed and digital treatment menu.

The Challenge

Emma’s desire for a brand that embodied both luxury and natural authenticity was a key challenge. The brand needed to visually communicate the spa’s serene woodland environment while showcasing its commitment to wellbeing and high-end treatments. Additionally, the identity had to be applied across digital and print formats, maintaining consistency and sophistication across platforms.

The Process

Discovery Phase: We immersed ourselves in the natural beauty of the Flimwell Park area, drawing inspiration from the earthy colours and organic forms in the woodland. We collaborated with Emma to understand her brand’s values and aesthetic preferences, ensuring a design that would feel authentic to her spa's ethos.

Concept Development: The brand identity evolved to reflect the tranquility of the woodland and the soothing treatments Emma offers. We chose earthy tones and terrestrial icons to represent the various aspects of the spa's services, creating a cohesive visual language.

Design Refinement: The visual elements were refined to create a clean, spacious, and refined look that mirrored the spa's calming atmosphere and minimalist design.

The Solution

Logo Design: A simple, elegant logo that integrates the natural and luxurious elements of Wild Iris Spa, reflecting both authenticity and high-end service.

Visual Identity: A harmonious colour palette of earthy tones and natural textures paired with terrestrial icons to represent the spa’s offerings, evoking a sense of wellness, nature, and tranquility.

Website Design (Squarespace): A serene and user-friendly Squarespace website that showcases the spa’s services and ethos. The layout reflects the clean lines and brightness of the building, with a spacious and refined aesthetic.

Treatment Menu: Both digital and printed treatment menus were designed to align with the brand’s visual identity, featuring clear typography, ample whitespace, and a refined layout that conveys luxury and serenity.

The Impact

The new brand identity clearly communicates the ecological and luxurious focus of Wild Iris Spa, while maintaining a connection to its natural, woodland environment.

The Squarespace website has provided Emma with an elegant platform to display her treatments and connect with her clientele.
